The city of Henderson is gearing up for one of the Tri-State’s biggest musical events. WNIN’s John Gibson has a preview:
The W.C. Handy Blues and Barbecue Festival starts Wednesday and runs through Saturday on the Henderson riverfront.
Among the scheduled performers on Wednesday are Parker Barrow and the Ghost Town Blues Band.
Thursday is the annual Zydeco Night, featuring among others Dwayne Dopsie and the Zydeco Hellraisers:

The Handy festival is free to attend but donations are encouraged to keep the festival free.
