The utility company says it’s coordinating with emergency and agency partners and mobilizing resources.
CenterPoint Vice President Shane Bradford says the company has taken steps to position crews, equipment and support teams across its service territory.
Customers can stay up-to-date on outages with CenterPoint’s new Outage Tracker, available in English and Spanish.
The company says the tracker is capable of handling increased traffic during storms.
Customers are also encouraged to enroll in the company’s Power Alert Service at centerpointenergy.com
