New Stoplight Coming to Warrick County

INDOT

INDOT Crews will install a traffic signal at Indiana 66 and Grimm Road

A new stoplight is coming to a busy highway in Warrick County. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

The Indiana Department of Transportation says it will install a traffic signal at State Road 66 and Grimm Road later this month.

INDOT says the new signal will flash yellow on 66 and red on Grimm for three days.

The intersection will then begin operating in a normal green, yellow, and red light operation.

INDOT notes a temporary signal was installed at 66 and Grimm during installation of a displaced left turn at 66 and Epworth Road.

The agency says crews have since closely monitored traffic and determined a traffic signal is now warranted at Grimm Road.

The installation is expected on or around May 21st.
