Congressman Mark Messmer is conducting a town hall by telephone Tuesday evening. WNIN’s John Gibson has a preview:
The Republican says he’s hosting a “Tele-Town Hall” at 5 p.m. Central Time to answer questions from Hoosiers in Indiana’s 8th District about the work he’s doing in Congress.
Messmer’s office says constituents can register for the event up until three hours before it begins at messmer.house.gov
You can dial-in for the event at 877-353-4701 at 5 p.m.
Some constituents have been calling on Messmer to hold a live town hall for weeks, even conducting protests in Evansville and elsewhere.
The group Indivisible Evansville is inviting people to join this evening’s event and try to get questions answered.
The group complains that Messmer is “literally
calling it in.”
