It offers weather overlays, Spanish access, and a button to report an outage

CenterPoint Energy has launched what it calls a new and improved online outage map. WNIN’s John Gibson takes a look:

The new Outage Tracker displays current outage conditions and includes a mobile-friendly interface, weather overlays, and Spanish language access.

CenterPoint says it’s designed to handle increased traffic during severe weather events.

The company also says customers can report outages directly from the site.

The Outage Tracker is supported by an enhanced cloud-based platform.

If you go to the previous outage map it will provide directions to the new one.

It can be found here.
