The UNIFI facility on W. Illinois St. brings with it 70 new jobs

A new autism care facility has opened in Evansville. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

UNIFI Autism Care has officially opened the doors of its treatment center in the one-thousand block of W. Illinois St.

The company says it will offer an innovative, integrated, and inclusive approach to autism care by bringing together child health professionals, behavior analysts, and families.

UNIFI says the center creates about 70 new jobs.

Evansville Mayor Stephanie Terry attended Tuesday’s ribbon cutting.

She notes it was co-founded by her cousin

Terry says the UNIFI center was created with “compassion and purpose” and will offer life-changing support for children and families.
