United Caring Services has received a financial boost. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
First Federal Savings Bank recently awarded UCS 27-thousand, 500 dollars in grant funds through a match program.
The grant will support United Caring Services’ mission to help transition individuals out of homelessness and into permanent housing.
First Federal Vice President Courtney Schmitt said the institution is “proud to partner with United Caring Services.”
She says through programs like Care Ride and assistance in obtaining Social Security, VA, and other benefits, UCS provides a “path forward for those in need.”
United Caring Executive Director Ryan Rigg says the partnership with First Federal comes at a critical time when funds are needed for vital services.
