The city of Owensboro has launched a new website. WNIN’s John Gibson takes a look:
The homepage of Owensboro.org features video of the city’s downtown area, attractions, and events.
The site also provides information on the city’s departments and offers opportunities to sign-up for email and text alerts.
The city’s Police Department says residents can access the OPD’s page under the “Departments” tab.
Officials say the OPD’s own web address will be working soon.
Residents can also see city meeting agendas and minutes, information about city projects, job listings, and an opportunity to report an issue in the city here.
