Hope Executive Director Josh Calhoun reminded everyone that the site is a renovated Burger King:
"And so we've come a long way from flippin’ burgers."
Hope’s Board President John Raiser thanked the organization’s staff:
"For the spirit that they have, the dedication that the team has, and just everything that they do for the affordable housing and hopefully, to expand those services even further."
Executive Director Calhoun says he hopes the new headquarters is just the beginning:
"So, I'm hoping that over the next 20 years we're able to revitalize the housing here, we're able to attract business here, we're able to create entertainment opportunities here for the residents and people who will love to visit Jacobsville."
Residents looking for housing assistance, financial counseling, or homeownership support can visit the new Hope office Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5:00.
The agency can also be found on Facebook and at hopeofevansville.org.
