Wesselman Woods is inviting the community to a free Earth Day celebration next month. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
It’s set for Saturday, April 19th – three days before the traditional Earth Day.
Wesselman says the event in its Nature Center will celebrate nature and promote sustainability, environmental and ecological education.
Officials say the celebration will include what Wesselman calls “25 passionate organizations” sharing fun, hands-on activities.
Food trucks will also be on hand.
The event starts at 10 a.m. at the facility off Boeke Road.
