Construction crews will block a portion of the Lloyd Expressway Monday evening. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The Indiana Department of Transportation says the westbound lanes of the Lloyd will be blocked for no more than 20 minutes near Stockwell Road.
INDOT says it will happen after rush hour, sometime between 7 and 9 p.m.
The stoppage is needed so crews can remove an overhead sign.
Westbound drivers may want to find an alternate route between 7 and 9 p.m. -- possibly Lincoln Avenue to the south or Morgan Avenue to the north.
The Lloyd is already restricted as crews install a displaced left turn at Stockwell.
It’s part of the Lloyd for You initiative.
The projects have also removed the stoplights at Vann Avenue and restricted the West Lloyd from Barker Avenue to the Posey County line.
