Indiana’s winter moratorium on utility disconnections ends this weekend. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:
CenterPoint Energy is reminding customers about available resources to help manage energy bills as the winter heating season ends.
The company encourages customers to contact CenterPoint to discuss available options.
They include payment arrangements in which customers can fulfill their obligation in smaller increments over a set period of time.
There’s also the Keep Service On Program which starts in March and provides up to $200 to help eligible natural gas customers maintain their service.
And there’s township trustee assistance available year-round, with eligibility and support levels determined by local trustee offices.
