A pair of music instructors from UE and USI will perform together this week. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The recital is called “2B or not 2B” – that’s the number 2 and the letter B – and it’s set for Thursday evening at USI.
The university says its Music Instructor Thomas Drury will perform with Jack Bogard, Adjunct Professor of Violin at the University of Evansville.
Drury and Bogard will perform Brahms's Sonata #1 in G for piano and violin along with several jazz selections and pieces by Samuel Barber – Brahms and Barber representing the two B’s.
The event is presented by the University of Southern Indiana’s Philip H. Hagemann (HAY-guh-men) Performing Arts Department.
The recital is at 7 p.m. Thursday in the USI Performance Center.
It’s free and open to the public.
