A child is credited with alerting family members when a fire broke out inside their Newburgh home Friday morning. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The Ohio Township Fire Department says the first crew to arrive in the 2600 block of Bell Road found smoke coming from a single-story home and the occupants outside.
Firefighters entered the burning house and extinguished the flames in less than ten minutes.
The department says the family’s daughter had alerted the family about the blaze, everyone got out, and no one was injured.
There was no word on how the fire started.
