The Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation is seeking public comment as it accepts applications for a new superintendent. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The anonymous survey is administered by the Indiana School Boards Association, via Survey Monkey.
It asks respondents what they see as the EVSC’s strengths, areas that need improvement, and what they want from a new superintendent.
Respondents are also invited to share thoughts to help the school board decide who will take the reins.
The Superintendent Search Survey can be found on the home page of the EVSC’s website.
It’s open through March 10th.
Current superintendent Dr. David Smith is retiring at the end of this school year.
He’s been with the EVSC for 43 years – the past 14 as superintendent.
