A California company is buying Gibbs Die Casting in Henderson. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
Architect Equity has announced the acquisition of Gibbs from Koch Enterprises.
In a social media post, the Gibbs team said it was “excited” about the new partnership.
As part of the transaction, Architect says it will maintain Gibbs’ manufacturing operations in Henderson and will retain the existing leadership team.
Gibbs employs more than 800 workers at its Henderson facility.
It was founded in 1965 and makes precision die-casted products for the automotive and industrial markets.
Products include powertrain and transmission parts for internal combustion engines as well as parts for electric vehicle, hybrid and autonomous vehicles.
