USI to host TEDx Event in March

File

Interested speakers from USI and beyond are invited to make a proposal

The University of Southern Indiana is planning a TEDx event. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

The university says the independently organized TEDx USI event will be part of USI’s Core Speaker Series.

The three-hour event on March 20th will feature talks in Carter Hall with interactive sessions in the University Center.

USI says it’s seeking dynamic speakers with powerful ideas for TEDxUSI.

Members of the USI community and beyond are invited to submit proposals for talks that embody the spirit of "ideas worth spreading."

A speaker proposal form can be found here.

The deadline to submit proposals is Friday, February 14th.

USI says all submissions will be reviewed but the organizing team won’t be able to respond to each proposal.
