The University of Evansville and Ivy Tech Community College have announced a new partnership. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The institutions say a Guaranteed Admission Agreement will provide Ivy Tech graduates with a seamless pathway to continue their education at UE.
The GAA guarantees admission to UE for students who complete an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, or Associate of Applied Science degree at Ivy Tech with a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher.
UE says students must meet specific requirements, including applying for admission to UE and completing all degree requirements for their program.
University President Christopher Pietruszkiewicz says UE is thrilled to welcome Ivy Tech graduates and provide them with “the resources and opportunities to excel."
Ivy Tech Chancellor Daniela Vidal says the college is proud to partner with UE.
The agreement will be reviewed every three years to make sure it’s responding to students' needs and educational advancements.
