The drive is from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday in honor of EPD Officer Jordan Rundle

You’re being asked to roll up your sleeve to honor an injured Evansville Police Officer and boost blood supplies. WNIN’s John Gibson explains:

Ascension St. Vincent will host a blood drive Tuesday in honor of EPD Officer Jordan Rundle.

Rundle was seriously injured in a car crash in Newburgh last month and received immediate medical attention at St. Vincent.

He was then transferred to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, where he’s still receiving care.

Blood drive organizers include Team Jordan, the Evansville Police Department, FOP Lodge #73 and the American Red Cross.

The drive will be held inside The Manor at Ascension St. Vincent, 3700 Washington Avenue, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday.
