The Town of Newburgh is offering four locations for residents to drop off storm debris. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The town says after the recent ice and snow, crews first removed hazardous hanging limbs and fallen trees across roadways, sidewalks and public spaces.
Newburgh has now contracted with Renewable Resources to help with residential debris.
The firm will be placing dumpsters at four locations for town residents to drop off tree, limb, and bush debris.
The dumpsters will be set up at the Aurand Trailhead and the Old Lock and Dam Park – both on State Route 662 -- at Lou Dennis Community Park on Park Drive, and Kiwanis Community Park on Filmore Street.
The Town of Newburgh says the dumpsters will be checked regularly and Renewable Resources will be notified when the dumpster is nearing capacity.
Officials say if a dumpster is full, please don’t stack debris on top. Instead, move to another dumpster on the list.
