Fertilizer Terminal Opens in Mt. Vernon

ADM

ADM says it will offer more crop nutrients to farmers and retailers in the region

A new source of fertilizer is coming to Posey County. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

ADM has announced the opening of a fertilizer terminal on Old State Road 69 in Mt. Vernon.

The company says the goal is to provide farmers and retailers in the region more convenient access to a reliable supply of crop nutrition products.

The facility is next door to an ADM grain terminal along the Ohio River.

The new terminal has a capacity of nearly 20 thousand tons offering urea, potash, as well as micronutrients, biologicals, nitrogen stabilizers and more

ADM says the facility has full blending capabilities to meet specific fertility needs.

ADM Sales Manager Luke Halter says the new Mt. Vernon terminal joins an existing terminal in Owensboro.
