Indiana 211 Activated for Vanderburgh, Warrick

File

Residents seeking help with storm debris can contact 211

Residents needing help with winter storm damage may want to dial three numbers. WNIN’s John Gibson explains:

The Evansville-Vanderburgh County Emergency Management Agency says Indiana 211 has been activated for Vanderburgh and Warrick counties.

The service is available for residents dealing with the recent winter storm – primarily storm debris on private property.

The EMA says other requests for assistance will be reviewed.

Those wishing to submit requests can do so online at in211.communityos.org

The online form consists of a starting page, then a five-page form to be filled out.

If you don’t have Internet access, you can call 211 to be connected to the Indiana 211 service.

Meanwhile, Evansville and Vanderburgh County residents can drop off storm debris – including trees, tree limbs, and shrubs -- at the 4H Fairgrounds off Boonville-New Harmony Road and at the former Roberts Stadium site off Boeke Road starting Friday at 9 a.m.
