Ice on a tree in Downtown Evansville

Local residents can choose from the 4-H Center and the former Roberts Stadium site

Evansville and Vanderburgh County residents will have two locations to drop off storm debris, starting Friday. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:

County Commissioners say residents can drop off trees, tree limbs, and woody shrubs at the 4H Fairgrounds off Boonville-New Harmony Road Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. the next three weekends.

In the city, the drop off will take place at the former Roberts Stadium site off Boeke Road.

The dates and times are the same as the county’s drop-off site, except for additional drop-off times next Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the former Roberts Stadium site.

Neither site will accept leaves, grass, regular yard waste or trash.

Proof of city or county residency, like a driver’s license, will be required.

Recent ice and snow storms dropped countless trees and limbs in the area.
