Western Kentucky residents are invited to a series of community forums to help fight poverty. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
Audubon Area Community Services has announced forums to be held in seven counties: Daviess, Henderson, Hancock, McLean, Ohio, Union and Webster.
The group says the forums are an opportunity for community members to share insights, ideas, and concerns about how the AACS can better serve individuals and families facing poverty.
Residents are encouraged to attend and provide input on strategies and solutions that can empower those in need and strengthen local resources.
The Daviess County forum is set for January 30th at 8:00 a.m. at the Logsdon Community Center in Owensboro.
The session in Henderson County is scheduled for February 21st at 10:00 a.m. at the Henderson Public Library.
