More than half of Henderson County residents without power as of Monday morning

The city of Henderson and the surrounding region have widespread power outages due to the Sunday and Monday winter storm, leading to a state of Emergency being called.

As of Monday Morning more than half of Henderson County Residents were without power.

This is the most of Kenergy Corporation service area followed by Union County at about 50-percent. Daviess County was under four-percent of residents without power, but that number has been increasing.

Henderson County outages are decreasing.

Out of their nearly 60-thousand customers, more than 11 thousand have been affected. As of Monday morning, more than eight thousand were without power.

The Kentucky utility company is reporting more than 300 total outages since January fifth at 10 a.m. peaking at 8 p.m.
