File

The event is from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at St. John’s East 7000 Lincoln Avenue

Evansville residents are invited to the final Traveling City Hall meeting of 2024 Wednesday evening. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

Mayor Stephanie Terry is leading the meeting at St. John’s East United Church of Christ at 7000 Lincoln Avenue from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.

Mayor Terry will make brief remarks and offer updates from the Mayor’s Office.

Then residents have an opportunity to speak about their concerns directly with officials from all city departments.

The mayor’s office says representatives from the Indiana Department of Transportation also will be on hand to answer questions about the Lloyd4U project, and representatives from CenterPoint Energy will attend to speak with customers.

Attendees also will have the opportunity to speak with members of the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council, to discuss mental health and digital literacy.

The administration says the quarterly Traveling City Hall meetings at various locations will continue in 2025, with a full calendar of events to be released in January.
