A house fire has displaced a resident on Evansville’s Southeast Side. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
Firefighters were dispatched to the house in the 1500 block of Marshall Avenue during the noon hour Monday.
The occupant and two pet dogs got out safely and crews extinguished the blaze.
A district chief on the scene asked for the Red Cross to assist the resident and the dogs.
There’s no word on the cause of the fire.
An investigator was called to the scene.
