University of Southern Indiana students have an opportunity to learn more about world languages and cultures. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
USI says its Bachelor of Professional Studies program has added a new concentration in languages and cultures offered through USI’s College of Liberal Arts.
The university says the BPS Program provides both traditional students and adult learners an opportunity to tailor an online degree program to their specific academic and career goals.
The university says it’s received inquiries from current and prospective students about coursework in the languages, specifically teaching English as a second language.
Program Director Dr. Wes Durham says the development of a World Languages and Culture concentration is a practical and pragmatic course of study that leads to potential career opportunities for its graduates.
