The club responded to questions about the drawing's legitimacy

The West Side Nut Club has responded to questions about its huge half-pot drawing. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

The club says the half-pot is run “to the letter of the law and guidelines by the Indiana Gaming Commission.”

The Nut Club notes there has been a winner every year and Indiana law allows for a winner to remain anonymous.

The club says anyone who feels the drawing may have been operated unfairly can contact the Indiana Gaming Commission here.

The Nut Club also says it tries to be as transparent as possible by posting and celebrating donations made to non-profit organizations from the half-pot.

This year’s drawing topped $2 million.

There was no word of a winner as of Monday morning.
