The Fall Festival’s Half-Pot has surpassed one-point-three million dollars. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:
The giant fundraiser topped the million-dollar mark Thursday afternoon and has been rising steadily ever since as festival goers buy tickets for the big drawing.
The West Side Nut Club’s goal is $2 million by the time ticket sales end at 7 p.m. Saturday
Last year’s final tally was more than $1.8 million.
The 103rd festival on W. Franklin Street is in its final two days, with about 130 non-profits selling food.
The festival’s Amateur Hour finals are at 7 p.m. Friday; the pet parade begins at 10 a.m. Saturday and the main parade starts at 4:30 Saturday afternoon.
Carnival rides and games are open until 10:30 Friday night and from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday.
