Chandler Planning New Fire Station

CFD

The town will use a quasi-governmental program to finance the facility

The Town of Chandler is planning to build a new fire station with the help of a state program. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

Chandler Town Treasurer Daniel Elliott says the Indiana Bond Bank assisted the town with financing through its Community Funding Resource Program.

The funds will be used to finance the design, acquisition, construction and equipping of a new municipal fire station.

Elliot notes the program gives communities up to 25 years to pay it back.

He says the CFR’s steady payments help with new and old projects so communities can get the money they need to get things done and to make life better for everyone,

The quasi-governmental program helps cities, towns, school corporations, townships, libraries, counties, and other municipal units.
