An unusual circus on a raft will float into Henderson Monday evening. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
Flotsam! – with an exclamation point -- is part circus, part performance art, and part environmental activism.
The rag-tag troupe performs on a self-made wooden raft that’s making its way down the Ohio River.
The troupe performed twice over the weekend on the Evansville riverfront and marked its 100th performance.
Flotsam will perform on the Henderson riverfront at 5:30 Monday evening.
The circus is free to attend but donations are encouraged so the troupe can continue its shows across the country -- and possibly return to the Tri-State in the future.
Flotsam is planning to perform soon in New York City.
