Authorities have released the name of the man who was found dead inside a burning house in Owensboro. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:
Firefighters were dispatched to the house in the 300 block of Holmes Drive early Thursday.
The Owensboro Fire Department says crews extinguished the blaze and found an occupant deceased inside.
The Daviess County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 41-year-old Adam Doss.
The cause of Doss’s death has not been determined.
The OFD asked for prayers for Doss and his family.
A pet also died in the blaze.
There’s no word yet on how the fire started.
