The latest road closure in the Evansville area affects a major intersection. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
INDOT says crews are closing the southbound I-69 ramp to eastbound Highway 66, starting Monday.
The closure will allow crews to make concrete repairs.
Officials say the work is expected to take three days.
Drivers are asked to use I-69 southbound to State Road 662 to I-69 northbound, as a detour.
The closure is part of a large project to improve I-69 in Vanderburgh County.
The work caused lane closures on I-69 in the northeastern part of the county for much of the summer.
