A precautionary boil advisory for Evansville’s North Side has been extended until at least Wednesday morning. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:
The advisory includes an area bounded roughly by Cardinal Drive on the South and Senate Avenue on the north.
The east and west boundaries vary.
The Evansville Water and Sewer Utility says more testing is needed following work to a waterline.
You can see the full advisory map at ewsu.com.
Residents and businesses in the advisory area are urged to boil tap water for at least five minutes or use bottled water for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes.
Customers within the advisory area will be notified by text or automated phone call when the advisory is lifted, if your phone number and utility account are registered with MyWater EWSU.
