Lane Closures Planned for U.S. 41

INDOT

The restrictions on U.S. 41 near Princeton will allow work for a "reduced conflict intersection"

New lane closures are coming to Highway 41 for an intersection improvement project in Gibson County. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:

The Indiana Department of Transportation says crews will begin alternating lane restrictions on U.S. 41 near Princeton as soon as Monday.

INDOT says the closures are planned for the intersection of County Road 100 West and will continue to County Road 350 South.

The closures are needed for construction of a “reduced conflict intersection” at 41 and County Road 100 W.

Drivers can also expect restrictions on 100 West during the project.

Work is expected to last through mid-September, depending on the weather.

INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near road crews.
