Forecasters say heat, humidity, and thunderstorms will accompany the Fourth of July in the Tri-State. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
After a break from the heat on Monday, temperatures and dew points are forecast to rise as we approach Independence Day.
By Wednesday, the National Weather Service predicts steamy highs in the mid-90’s with thunderstorms developing.
Forecasters say some of the storms could be strong.
Then on Thursday – the Fourth – Mother Nature is expected to provide her own fireworks in the form of more thunderstorms.
The rainy weather is forecast to stretch into Friday, before a sunny, warm weekend.
