Officials are expected to announce an interim president at USI tomorrow (Fri). WNIN’s John Gibson has more:
USI’s Board of Trustees has scheduled a brief public meeting for 11:45 a.m. Friday.
The meeting will follow a closed-door executive session in which the board will discuss an interim successor to President Dr. Ron Rochon.
Rochon surprised many last week when he announced he’s accepted the presidency at California State-Fullerton, effective in July.
Officials say Friday’s meeting will include remarks by Board Chair Christine Keck, outgoing President Rochon, and the appointed Interim President.
The meeting will be held in the Griffin Center on the USI campus.
