The Evansville Commission on Homelessness is looking to update its strategic plan. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The Commission has released a Request for Proposals for qualified consultants to help develop a five-year strategic plan to end homelessness in Evansville and Vanderburgh County.
The RFP will remain open until Friday, May 24th.
The city’s original plan to end homelessness originated in 2002, and was amended in both 2012 and 2022.
The new RFP says the plan has expanded and there’s a need for a strategic plan that targets more specific goals and accomplishments.
The Commission’s goal is to replace the earlier plan by the end of this year.
