The University of Evansville says a $1 million gift will establish a new scholarship fund. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
UE says the gift will create the Collier Family Endowed Scholarship Fund.
The Colliers were the founders of Research Systems Corporation – or RSC -- a TV advertising research company based in Evansville.
The corporation has employed numerous graduates from UE.
The new scholarship fund will provide a four-year $10,000 annual scholarship for undergraduate students.
Reginald Collier died in 2004 and Lois Collier passed away in 2013 leaving behind their children, Mark Collier and Brynn Collier Helms, and their four grandchildren.
