Vanderburgh and Warrick County Republicans are inviting the public to a congressional forum this weekend. WNIN's John Gibson has details:
The 8th District forum is set for 9 a.m. Saturday at the Ohio Township Fire Station and Events Center at 3433 Libbert Road in Newburgh.
The GOP invites resident to engage with Republican candidates for Congress, hear their views, and learn about their plans for the community.
Organizers are also offering complimentary coffee and donuts.
A total of eight Republicans are seeking the congressional seat being vacated by Larry Bucshon, including former Congressman John Hostettler, civil engineer Dominick Kavanaugh, State Senator Mark Messmer, and business owner Kristi Risk.
The doors open at 8:30 Saturday morning at the Ohio Township Fire Station on Libbert Road.
