One person died and five others were injured in a crash in Posey County. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:
It happened Saturday afternoon on State Road 69 at Copperline Road.
The Posey County Sheriff’s Office says a person riding a utility terrain vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene after colliding with an SUV.
Officials said five others were taken to hospitals, some of them in critical condition.
There was no word yet on the name of the deceased.
A medical helicopter and multiple ambulances were dispatched to the scene.
The crash and investigation closed the roadway for at least two hours.
