Authorities say the pedestrian who was struck and killed in Owensboro yesterday (Wed) was a teenager. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:
The Daviess County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 17 year old Layla Quinn.
The OPD says Quinn was hit by a vehicle in the 2000 block of East 4th Street at about 3:30 Wednesday afternoon.
An AMR ambulance took her to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital, where she was declared deceased.
The Owensboro Police Department’s Accident Reconstruction Unit was called to the scene.
There was no word of any charges against the driver.
