Reconstruction Will Close Oak Hill Road

Vanderburgh County Engineer

The work may start as soon as March 27

A reconstruction project will close portions of Oak Hill Road for more than a year. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

The Vanderburgh County Engineer’s Office says Oak Hill will be closed between Heckel Road and Millersburg Road, starting as soon as March 27th.

The first phase of the reconstruction will be done between Eastwood Drive and Voigt Road, with access only to local traffic.

All Oak Hill School traffic will be required to enter and exit the school to the north towards Millersburg Road.

Once the first section of the reconstruction is completed, the portion of Oak Hill between Voigt and Millersburg roads will be constructed during phase two.

The entire project is expected to be completed by August 1, 2025.
