The solar eclipse is just over a month away and the University of Southern Indiana is offering educational materials. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:
USI says it has compiled resources for K-thru-12 teachers and students including tailored lesson plans, interactive activities, and short videos.
The university says students of all ages can learn the science, history and cultural significance of solar eclipses.
The April 8th event will plunge Evansville into darkness -- with about three minutes of totality -- as the moon blocks out the sun.
The educational resources are free and can be found on USI’s Solarpalooza website.
