The Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana is accepting applications from art vendors for this year’s First Fridays in Evansville. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
ARTSWIN says potential vendors will be vetted based on artistic contributions and issued a permit for the monthly events that start May 3rd.
The council says local artists will be prioritized and vendors without a permit will not be allowed to take part in the events at Haynie’s Corner.
ARTSWIN emphasizes the application is NOT for music or food vendors.
The fee for art vendors is $40 to attend all six events, with a $30 fee for high school and college students.
First Fridays begin at 5:30pm each month through October and vendors are expected to be ready to sell by 5:15pm.
