College Goal Sunday Coming Up

Ivy Tech
Ivy Tech on First Ave. in Evansville

Students and families can learn about applying for financial aid Sunday, Feb. 25, at Ivy Tech

Students planning to go to college this fall -- and their families – may want to circle Sunday, February 25th, on their calendars. WNIN’s explains:

College Goal Sunday is set for 2 p.m. that day at Ivy Tech Community College in Evansville -- and 36 other sites across Indiana.

Financial aid professionals will volunteer to help college-bound students and their families seek financial aid.

State law now requires all high school seniors to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid – or FAFSA.

Students should attend College Goal Sunday with a parent or guardian, who should bring completed 2022 IRS 1040 tax returns, W-2 Forms and other 2022 income and benefits information.

Students who worked should also bring their income information.

Students and parents are encouraged to apply for their U.S. Department of Education FSA IDs before coming to the event at studentaid.gov.

College Goal Sunday is in its 35th year.
