Allegiant will offer twice-a-week service to St. Pete-Clearwater

Evansville Regional Airport is adding more flights to Florida. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

Allegiant Travel Company will offer nonstop flights between EVV and St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport, starting in June.

The airline says to celebrate, one-way fares for the new route will cost as little as $49.

The flights are part of ten new routes announced by Allegiant across the country.

Evansville Regional Executive Director Nate Hahn says the airport is “thrilled to offer Tri-State travelers the new year-round destination.”

Hahn called it a testament to the success the airport has had with Allegiant, and he remains committed to responding to passenger demand and airline growth.

Allegiant also flies between Evansville and Orlando, Daytona Beach, and Destin, Florida.

The Evansville airport is still trying to renew service to Chicago and Detroit, which stopped in 2022.
