Amy Canterbury is challenging incumbent Republican Cheryl Musgrave in the May Primary

The head of the local United Way is seeking a seat on the Vanderburgh County Commission. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:

Amy Canterbury is filing for Vanderburgh County Commissioner, District 3.

That seat is currently filled by Republican Cheryl Musgrave.

Canterbury is CEO of the United Way of Southwestern Indiana.

She’s also a former executive director of the local Red Cross.

Musgrave is currently president of the three-member county commission.

She lost the Republican Primary for Evansville Mayor last year to Natalie Rascher.

Musgrave has won all eight county-wide races she has run, and is seeking reelection to the commission.

Commissioner Cheryl Musgrave asks if anyone else in the audience wished to make a public comment concerning the ordinance.
