UE, Memorial Partner on College Credits

File

High school students can earn credits and get on a 3-year college track

The University of Evansville is partnering with Memorial High School to allow its students to earn college credit. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

UE says the partnership allows Memorial students with junior status to earn college credit for courses including Education, Chemistry, Biology, Spanish, and Psychology.

The credits will be transferable to UE or any institution that accepts UE transfer credits.

Memorial students may also attend college courses on the nearby UE campus as part of their daily class schedule.

UE says its faculty will work with high school administrators and instructors to provide additional educational opportunities for Memorial students.

The university says students who earn college credit through the partnership will be “well prepared” to start one of UE's three-year degree tracks.
